Piratefish Version History:

June 2010 - Piratefish 4.6
Beta tag has been removed - it was getting on my nerves. Also, some help from Keith Brown has been added in onto the tail end of chapter 6, hopefully fixing the pesky "File checker failed with real error: Insecure dependency in exec while running with -T at /usr/share/MailScanner//MailScanner/SweepOther.pm line 374." error.

April 2010 - Piratefsh 4.5 (beta)
Areas that had been previously untested were finally documented and fully tested - a missing chapter was also found and added to the table of contents as well - firewall support was back (never really gone - just hard to find!)

March 2010 - Piratefish 4.35 (beta)
The missing sections were found and updated, and the instructions for integrating MailWatch in are added. This is huge addition as previously, none of the "LAMP" elements have been introduced until now. (LAMP = Linux + Apache, MySQL, PHP)

February 2010 - Piratefish 4.3 (beta)
More edits, missing sections, and some new solutions for old problems are introduced.

January 2010 - Piratefish 4.2
A hule pile of edits came back in, and things improved once again.

December 2009 - Piratefish 4.0.10
After much re-writing, the skeleton and final formatting of the new version of the Piratefish was completed - all the enhancements, but few of the new featuers were found in this copy of the eBook - I should have called this one beta!

September 2009 - Piratefish 4.0-a
After a series of delays and setbacks, all the updates and enhancements of version 3.01, along with 2 years worth of updates and interface improvements started getting documented in a new version. This version was released with only the first six chapters completed, but those chapters made a lot of difference.

May 2007 - Piratefish 3.01
Updated for the latest version of Ubuntu Server. All fixes, upgrades and add-ons found in the 2.3 support page have been integrated into this eBook, plus the entire website and document underwent extensive revisions for Ubuntu interface changes on their installation process. This is the last version distributed using the eBook format.

January 2007 - Piratefish 3.0
This was distributed a bit during development - this version is depracated in favor of the 3.01. Contained mostly bugfixes and interface improvements.

June 2006 - Piratefish 2.3
This version was the first paid version of the Piratefish, and it had all the features of 1.0 and all the bugfixes found in the original documentation added in. This version also was the first to support FuzzyOCR and have a script for setting up drag/drop Bayesian training. This version also was the first to use Ubuntu Linux Server 7.04! This was the first version distributed using the old eBook format.

April 2005 - Piratefish 1.0
This PDF was the first Piratefish. It was crude, but it worked. Over 1500 downloads of this convinced me to pay more attention to people's needs. Once BlueFrog got stomped out of existence, then I knew I had to get serious. The Piratefish was first released on Debian Linux.
